Siolim, India: Market Village by the Riverside
Located in the major road junction between Chapora, Anjuna, Mapusa, and the north road to Arambol Siolim, India is a huge market village by the riverside. The village is close to some beaches which are most visited. The locals of Siolim are peace-loving people they stay in a subdivided community peacefully. With an estimated population of around 10,300, Siolim is not so crowded but one of the favourite places to visit. Siolim is home to Siolim House, a finalist for the 2001 UNESCO Award for Cultural Heritage Conservation in Asia. Goa International Airport is the nearest airport you can use in going to the village.

Based on the region’s climate, the best time of the year to visit Siolim, India is from June to September. The Zagor Festival is a big religious festival in the region where Christian tradition is blended with Hindu tradition held annually on the first Sunday and Monday after Christmas.
