Sirolo: Ancona’s Adriatic Summer Destination
Sirolo, Italy is a commune in Ancona that used to be a castle owned by the Conti Cortesi family during medieval times. It is one of the most popular summer destinations in the country. In fact, it has consistently bagged 1 of Marche’s 11 blue flags since 1994.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit Sirolo is during the months of April through June and August through November, for the perfect weather. The busiest months are usually February, May, and December. Tourists are least likely to visit in August. One of the most anticipated events nearby is Summer Jamboree Rockin’ Holiday, which is held every August in Senigallia. There is also a Hawaiian beach party on its last night. Another event to look forward to is Adriatico Mediterraneo, which is held every last week of August. It features music performances throughout the province, aiming to honor the history, significance, and traditions of the Adriatic sea.
