Simon Bolivar International Airport, Santa Maria, Colombia (SMR) is a public airport operated by Aeropuertos de Oriente SAS, which won a concession agreement with Aerocivil. It earned an international airport status in 2007.

Lineas Aerias Nacionales SA (LANSA) inaugurated Simon Bolivar International Airport in 1949. In 2018, Viva Air Colombia announced to open a hub at the airport.
