Tsukuba, Japan: A Special City
The merging of four towns namely; Yatabe, Oho, Toyosato, and the village of Sakura formed Tsukuba City in 1987. Later in 1988 and followed by 2002, its neighboring town and Kukizaki town joined them which made Tsukuba larger than before. Tsukuba is a city in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. The city has already gained significant prominence by the founding of Tsukuba Science City during 1960. These and many other desirable features of the city contributed to its tourism popularity.
