Tucuruí Airport has an international IATA code of TUR and it is a public-use airport serving Tucuruí, a municipality in the state of Pará in the Northern region of Brazil. Located 8 kilometers from downtown Tucuruí, Azul Brazilian Airlines used to offer regular flights to Araguaína, Belém, and Carajás but at present, there are no scheduled passenger flights operating to and from the airport.

Hardly any activity has happened at Tucuruí Airport in the past months. The airport does not operate at night.There is also no supply for aircraft whether it is fuel like keroseneor gasoline.The small terminal is hardly fit to receive passengers since furniture, electrical materials and debris are all over the place. There is also no access to Infraero, the government corporation that runs airports in the country. The aeronautical navigation aid service is likewise unavailable. However, the airport apron, ramps, gates, taxiways, lighting system in the airfield area lay almost unused. The municipality of Tucurui, which is 10 kilometers from the airport is one of the places that the airport used to serve when many flights were still coming in.
