Uvernet-Fours: A Mountain Village of Snow and Heritage
Nestled in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence is Uvernet-Fours, France, a municipality with just less than 600 residents. The town sits at an elevation of over 3,800 feet, making it a perfect holiday destination in the winter. Most of the tourists in the area enjoy skiing and sledding in the only ski resort in town called Pra-Loup. This then attracted numerous hotels and accommodation businesses to the city, especially around the ski resort.
Best Time to Visit
The ski resort in Uvernet-Fours hosts several winter events around Christmas. However, the tourist population is relatively low by this time of year as temperatures can drop to a freezing 43.6°F.
