Windsor, ME is a town in Kennebec County first incorporated in 1809 with the name “Malta”. In 1820, it was reincorporated as “Gerry” in honor of Eldridge Gerry. Finally, in 1822, Windsor, Maine was reincorporated as “Windsor”.
