El Dorado International Airport – BOG Bogota
Located at Fontibon district, El Dorado International Airport also known as BOG as its airport code, is a hub for Avianca, Wingo, LATAM Colombia and Satena in Bogota, Colombia. This international airport is government-owned, operated by OPAIN or Operadora Aeroportuaria Internacional which is an association of the Flughafen Zurich AG, a Swiss company, and Colombian and engineering firms. The BOG airport was tagged as the best airport in South America given by the World Airport Awards. Its prestige continued when Skytrax placed it at the 42nd spot on the World’s Top 100 Airports in 2017.

The construction for El Dorado Passenger Terminal started in 1955, fully functional in 1959 which then replaced the main airport of the city since 1930 – Techo International Airport. International departures are accommodated through Terminal 1, with several check-in counter areas, kiosks and immigration lanes. With moving walkways, elevators and escalators, passengers can sure have a convenient going to and fro within El Dorado International Airport. To add to that, they have Express Lanes for those who have biometric passports as well as for those who have Global Entry Memberships. Terminal 2 is currently Puente Aero’s exclusive terminal, thus earning that name.
