Seoul Arts Center, or known as SAC, is an art complex located in Seoul, South Korea. It is located in the Seocho-gu District. The center is divided into five buildings. There are auditoriums, museums and concert halls. The most prominent is the Opera House that resembles the traditional Korean bamboo hat, which is called the Gat. Seoul Art Center is also the headquarter of Korea Nationa Opera, Korea National Contemporary Dance Company, Korea National Ballet, and a lot more. The art center is also boasting numerous artistic disciplines on its premises. Some of them include the Calligraphy Museum and Hangaram Design Museum. In the middle of the center is where the plaza and cafe are located. Tourists will love to visit the art center all year round.
Aside from foreign tourists, the place of interest is frequented by residents of Seocho-gu, Garosu-gil, and other neighboring towns. Ahn Jung-geun Memorial Hall is one of the historical places in Seoul. It commemorates Korean indepence. Bongwonsa Temple is a Buddhist shrine situated on the hillside. It is also near Yongsei University. Chongdong Theater is a great place to see live performances related to Korean Culture. There are quite a number of lodgings near the art center.
